Prima beta di Windows 7 segnalata da Microsoft

Nell’attesa di domani, data ufficiale del rilascio della prima beta, finalmente Microsoft ha aggiornato la pagina dedicata a Windows 7, con tutte le nuove caratteristiche e tanti video dimostrativi. Ecco la pagina con tutti i video:

Aspettando l’annuncio ufficiale, vi sono molti torrent della beta di windows 7 sulla rete.  A dire il vero i torrent sono apparsi qualche giorno fa, ma ero in vacanza e non disponevo di una connessione a internet.Eppure su internet circolano voci (con screenshot inclusi) di Beta 7004, 7012 e 7019, anche se è difficile capire se siano delle vere Build o dei Fake. Tutto sommato quindi meglio aspettare la beta pubblica, che non dovrebbe tardare

Sul web circolano da un bel pò di tempo voci sull’uscita della prima versione beta di Windows 7. La Beta avrà come ID 7000.0.081212-1400 , il che differirà da quanto è successo con windows Vista, visto che Windows è arrivato alla verzione 6000 solamente dopo il completamento del Sistema operativo. Le voci danno anche come 7  Gennaio la data in cui sarà rilasciata la Beta pubblica.

The Microsoft Windows® beta team would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in the Mirosoft Windows 7 and Windows Server® 2008 R2 beta program planned for early 2009 as announced at the Professional Developers Conference Oct 2008. Accepting this invitation will allow you to access pre-release versions of the next version of Windows for the purpose of evaluating and providing feedback. We highly value your past feedback and know we can count on you again to help us build a great new version of Windows!

The beta version is not available quite yet but we need to assemble a great team of beta testers early so you are ready to go when we are! If you accept this invitation you’ll be notified when the beta version becomes available. In the meantime you can visit http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows7 and http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008R2 to learn more about what’s coming.

What you will get if you choose to participate

· Early access to downloadable beta copies of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

· Access to private newsgroups to discuss the beta with other testers and with Microsoft staff

· Access to various online events that will highlight new features and allow you to interact with the development team

· The ability to report bugs and track their status

· An opportunity to help us build a better Windows by assisting us in finding and fixing issues

What we will ask of you if you choose to participate

· We request that you download, burn to  DVD and install Windows and/or Windows Server on at least one PC

· We ask that you actively participate in discussions on the newsgroups and share your opinions with us and others

· We also request that you file bugs if you encounter them as well as respond to surveys as you can.

· We may ask you to consider being a press reference or invite you to share your Windows 7 user experience with others

Things you should know about Windows 7 and the beta program

· The beta will be available in English, German, Japanese and Arabic. A language pack for Hindi will also be provided

· Availability will be via download only. No media will be provided so you’ll need a DVD Burner to create installation media

· PCs that support and run Windows Vista should allow you to run Windows 7.

· Servers that support and run Windows Server 2008 should allow you to run Windows Server 2008 R2

· Participating in the beta does not necessarily mean you will receive a free final product.

· Participation is strictly voluntary but we ask that if you do accept this invitation you report bugs as you see them as well as actively participate in the newsgroups and other events.

· Spots are limited and from time to time we may remove inactive participants in order to make space available for others who are willing to actively provide feedback.

Getting Started

While beta will not be available until early 2009 we, know you are excited to get started so we have opened the microsoft.beta.win7.lobby so you may begin renewing acquaintances with previous participants as well as meeting new testing peers. After accepting the invitation, you will be able to sign into Microsoft Connect and click on the “Windows 7 Beta Program” link for more information on accessing the newsgroups.

As well, to better understand our audience and how we are asking you to complete the following three surveys to tell us about yourself. Each survey has 20-40 questions and each should take you approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. You don’t have to take them all at once nor do you have to do it right now. We ask though that at some point you find time to complete them. As a thank-you for completing these prior to the end of the calendar year (Prior to January 1st, 2009) each participant who completes all three surveys (or indicates “already taken”) will be put into a drawing and five winners selected to receive some Windows 7 logo’ed toys!

SuperBar su Windows 7 Build 6801

Intanto eccovi uno sfondo dedicato a Windows 7 e a 7win…perchè grigio? Adesso ve lo spiego…

Nella Build 6801 la Super Taskbar non è presente, ma è comunque possibile attivare qualcosa di molto simile progettato da Microsoft per la Build 6993 e poi scartata. La sto provando e non è che non sia valida,ma ci sono alcune differenze sostanziali. Comunque, se si attiva la nuova taskbare non si ha attivato aero,la taskbar apparirà grigia, per questo ho creato il Walppaper grigio. Vedevo la taskbar sul pc virtuale molto antiestetica,così colorata di grigio,che contrastava con i colori accesi del wallpaper precedente.

Se vi interessa avere la SuperBar su Windows 7 Build 6801:

1. Scaricare questo file, se si ha un sistema a 32 bit, o questo file, se si ha un sistema a 64 bit;
2. Estrarre sul desktop il file unlockProtectedFeatures.exe contenuto nell’archivio scaricato;
3. Fare click destro sul file unlockProtectedFeatures.exe, selezionare la voce Proprietà dal menu, cliccare sul pulsante Unblock, e poi su OK;
4. Copiare ed incollare il file unlockProtectedFeatures.exe in C:\Windows;
5. Scaricare questo file;
6. Estrarre sul desktop il file Lock-Unlock_Protected_Features.bat contenuto nell’archivio scaricato;
7. Avviare il file Lock-Unlock_Protected_Features.bat;
8. Mettere il segno di spunta sulla voce Unlock Protected Features, per poi cliccare sul pulsante Launch.

A questo punto, dovreste avere la nuova taskbar perfettamente funzionante. Qualora il file bat non avesse compiuto il suo dovere, potete invece accedere al prompt dei comandi con privilegi da amministratore, per poi dare i seguenti comandi:

1. takeown /f %windir%\explorer.exe
2. cacls %windir%\explorer.exe /E /G %UserName%:F
3. taskkill /im explorer.exe /f
4. cd %windir%
5. start unlockProtectedFeatures.exe

Infine, chiunque desiderasse tornare alla taskbar classica, non deve far altro che avviare nuovamente il file bat presente sul desktop, mettere il segno di spunta su Lock Protected Features, e cliccare su Launch.

Trasformare Windows Vista in Windows 7

Vi piacerebbe avere questo desktop?

Ma non vi piacerebbe l’idea di scaricare un intero sistema operativo che differisce di pochissimo da windows Vista.

Allora questa guida è quello che fa per voi. Ecco l’occorrente, tutto scaricabile da DeviantArt:

1-Il logon(attenzione, è necessario LogonStudio):

Dopo aver installato LogonStudio, lanciatelo e fate click su Load,poi cercate il file che avete scaricato e decompresso e cliccate su Apri. In seguito fate click su Apply e il gioco è fatto.

2-Il Tema:

Per installarlo naturalmene serve la patch, per chi non l’avesse ancora installata:

1. Scaricare il file uxtheme.dll per Windows Vista SP1 (cliccare qui per la versione per sistemi a 64 bit)
2. Scaricare ed avviare il software gratuito Replacer
3. Recarsi nella cartella C:\Windows\System32
4. Creare una copia di backup del file uxtheme.dll
5. Trascinare il file uxtheme.dll originale nella finestra di Replacer
6. Premere il tasto Invio
7. Trascinare il file uxtheme.dll modificato, scaricato precedentemente, nella finestra di Replacer
8. Premere il tasto Invio
9. Premere il tasto Y
10. Premere il tasto Invio
11. Premere il tasto Invio
12. Riavviare il PC

In seguito, il file va decompresso nella cartella C:\Windows\Resources\Themes ed applicato facendo doppio click sul file msstyles.

4-La Sidebar

In Windows 7 la Sidebar è assente, ma sono ugualmente presenti i Gadget. Per ovviare a questo problema non serve nessun programma:

Basta trascinare fuori dalla SideBar i Gadget che ci interessano e poi fare Click destro sulla SideBar e cliccare su “Chiudi Sidebar”

Pur non essendo cambiato di molto rispetto a Vista, vogliamo tutti essere perfetti, quindi:

6-Infine,l’ultimo tocco per dare la perfezione al vostro Desktop: la scritta in basso che testimonia il fatto che la versione in uso dell’Os è una versione Beta o Alpha:
